The RHS Chelsea Flower Show returns in May 2026, promising another unforgettable celebration of garden design, plants and ideas to inspire gardeners of every level, from first-time growers to seasoned professionals.

The first glimpse of what’s to come was revealed at a press conference held at the RHS Lindley Library in London on 20 October 2025, where organisers announced the first 13 Show Gardens set to feature at the world’s most prestigious gardening event.

One of the biggest headlines from the announcement was the return of multi-award-winning landscape designer Sarah Eberle. Marking her 50th year in horticulture, Sarah will come out of Show Garden retirement to create a special garden for the Campaign to Protect Rural England. Her last Chelsea Show Garden appeared in 2022, making this a much-anticipated comeback.

Visitors can also look forward to seeing several familiar and much-loved designers back on Main Avenue, including Tom Stuart-Smith, Arit Anderson, and reigning gold medal and Best in Show winner Kazuyuki Ishihara.

Commenting on the vision for 2026, Helena Pettit, RHS Director of Shows, said:

“This year our amazing RHS Chelsea Flower Show gardens demonstrate the transformative benefits of gardens and gardening. They take a re-energised and uplifting approach to creating special places that highlight hope and resilience, where everyone can feel the restorative power of plants and wildlife.”

She added that the gardens place strong emphasis on individual empowerment and personal choice, showing how gardeners can make positive decisions that benefit both nature and the wider world — while delivering plenty of creative ideas to spark excitement and imagination.

As in 2025, the 2026 show will feature a mix of large and smaller Show Gardens. Grant-giving charity Project Giving Back will once again play a key role, supporting several gardens designed around good causes and social impact.

Gardeners can explore all 13 Show Gardens at RHS Chelsea 2026 and secure tickets to experience these designs up close when the show opens next spring.
